Captain Jean Luc Picard, played by Patrick Stewart, commands the Flagship of the federation The Enterprise. A fearless leader, and a stern voice of reason, Picard's first loyalties are to his ship, crew and star-fleets code of ethics known as the Prime Directive. A talented poet, philosopher and scientist, a brilliant tactician, and a distinguished diplomat are the features which earn the respect of his friends and enemies alike.
Played by Jonathan Frakes, Wil Riker is the rugged right hand to Picards more subtle nature. A more miltant officer than Picard, Wil has a brave earthy sense of loyalties, and is more concerned with morals than policy. He is fiercely loyal to the ship and captain, passing up promotion to stay on board.
Worf, Son of Moog is played by the imposing Michael Dorn. The only Klingon officer in Star-fleet, his roles as Security chief on the enterprise and Klingon Advisor on Deep Space Nine, are performed with a brusque authority, a fanatic sense of honor and duty, and a bravery and skill, unknown to the human officers on board. Not a guy to mess with.
Data, played by Brent Spiner is the only character on board who just recently discovered emotions. An android with a quest to become human, Data's phenomenal strength, speed, skill and intelligence make him more than a match for his job as the Enterprise Operation's Chief. Infallible loyalty, a quiet innocence and an almost human sense of morality make Data one of the crew's most endearing members.
Troi, (Marina Sirtis), is the only officer on board with empathic abilities. Trained as ships counselor the crew turn to her in times of need. However her compassion, experience, and her broad skill base, make her a talented officer in her own right. She is capable of commanding the ship if need be.
